there’s no such thing as a Conservative democrat

Apparently you never lived in the South anytime before 1970. We were all Conservative Democrats. But, as Ronald Reagan said: “I didn’t leave the Democratic Party; they left me.” Today, duffee, John Kennedy would be a right-wing extremist in the eyes of Democrats. Yes, there is such an animal as a Conservative Democrat.... but, they are a dying breed from another generation before me.
The “conservative” democrats I’ve had occasion to meet and talk to end up justifying votes for obama, hood, pryor, childers, or manchin of course I’ve never heard childers give his justification for voting for “The Food Safety Act”. If you look at the voting record numbers the “conservative” democrat Conservative voting percentages are below the liberal Republicans such as cochran and wicker. How many “conservative democrats didn’t vote for reid and pelosi. In 1964 I lived in Memphis and traveled most of Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas most were democrats even on a local scale today the county democrat office holders still promote liberal democrats another reason we need closed primaries in Mississippi.
That is the dumbest comment I have read in a long time.
The "conservative" Democrats in the Senate today vote more than 95% of the time with Obama. They only cast a token vote against the liberal agenda when the vote doesn't matter.
I can't believe anyone would even try to pass that comment off as credible.
