I was talking to a buddy a couple of days ago. He told me one of his daughters applied for a librarians job at the Harold Washington Library in Chicago.
The library only hires people for jobs below 30 hours, so they don't have to provide Obamacare.
Even a socialist like Bill Gates won’t pay $20 an hour if he can get cheaper labor from India.
The left can play all these games with minimum wage but the next frontier is hyper-automation and robotics and the more they increase wages for these low-end jobs the easier it will be for the business cases to justify robots instead of people.

Taco Bell and the socialists are actually on the same side. Neither wants to pay a bunch of people $7 an hour. However, I don't think the socialists are going to like Taco Bell's solution, because although computer programmers make more than $20 an hour, they only need 1 for every 500 or so minimum wage employees they will replace.
