These things must happen. We have been in a decline since 1963.

Well, that era was what it was because we were still a union under God, Indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all. UNDER GOD, not the removal of God.
Sorry we are screwed and no political solution is out there. The problem is spiritual and I see no potential for that to change. Or, you can tune in and watch the sociopaths like the Osteens and pretend otherwise.
Jesus is going to return. Except for a remnant few, no one will like it very much.
