BUY ATK stock. They own the .22LR market.
A BIT high?
I saw a similar sign here in northern Arizona the other day. I can’t remember which store it was.
I bought 500 rounds a few years ago for less than twenty bucks.
I don’t care for Dicks Sporting Goods since they caved to the anti-scary looking gun crowd, but they recently had Remington .22s for $25/brick here in central IN. One per day per customer. Since I was working close, I hit it 3 days in a row
Still dirt cheap. They are spinning off divisions. The rocket group will probably be bought. Next buy point is a close over $142 is you want to wait. Then double up. $250 by end of next year. IMHO.
I am proud to say that I will never have to buy .22 ammo again for as long as I live. Bought it about 10 years ago and my brain seems to think @ > 7 bucks a brick.
CCI is reportedly manufacturing 4 million rounds per day and can’t keep up with demand.
20 cents per round is astronomically high. You can get 5.56 NATO for 35 cents per round.
Indeed. I can make .223 for 31 cents a round, with found brass, and the chinese stuff is cheaper than that.
I mean the Russian 5.56 not Chinese.
Local WM in central PA finally had some boxes of CCI x100 the other day @ $7.50 per.
Nice report. Demand is finally starting to drop. When it crosses.
I worry that the Ebola situation will rekindle demand.

$85 per 500? I can understand why they have 22lr.
The local Walmart has been getting a shipment almost once a week now. $24.97 for Winchester 555 packs.
$85 a brick is really expensive. Before things went nuts I remember paying around $20 and would toss a couple in the cart every time I went to Cabelas. I managed to put back nearly 10,000 rounds that way.
“When it crosses.” Should be:
When demand drops below supply, prices will drop fast.
Last time at WM, there were 6 boxes left. And immediately after I asked for 3, someone was waiting for the last 3.
CCI 40gr 100 box x 3 $7/ea.
Outdoor world/Bass pro shops seems to have it whenever I go shooting there. Also do archery there on Fridays since women are free.
