A lot of other employers are doing the same thing trying to drive wages down

A couple of years ago, some guy called me up with a hard sell approach for a contract support job somehow involving IBM.

Anyway, I had the skI’ll sets and experience. The job involved a lot of state wide travel too. I kept trying to get a word in. He finally quit talking, asked me when I was starting. I asked how much I would make. The answer $12 an hour flat.

I hung up.

And it’s a part time job so they don’t have to provide insurance
