SHEP SMITH, FNC: Oh, my God. Doug, I appreciate it, but I think we both know there's no widespread panic across the country and we both know -- And I think we also know that if there is widespread panic, it's not based in fact, and it's not based in reason, and I think more than anything, those are just words that people on tv sometimes use.
But this is serious, in that two health care workers have died in Texas. It's very serious for their families and in West Africa where it is spreading and it is an epidemic, .....

The only people panicking are people in the media and government.
The citizens who are prepping for “man-caused disaster” are the ones responding to events calmly and rationally.
Are you sure two health care workers have died in TX?
Shep Smith is so smart! :-)
Your hysterics on waterboarding weren’t either, Shemp.
No....and Shep doesn’t either!!!
As usual, Shep is all over the place, and doesnt himself know what he is talking about.
I just watched BO’s presser. He said that he shook the hand, hugged and kissed the health workers at Emory to prove their was no threat.
Liberals live in airy-fairy land.
These 0bama mouthpieces are so pathetic. Any of the willing accomplices in the media could be on their deathbeds with ebola while the virus turns their insides into hamburger helper and they’ll still accuse us of hysteria.
Did he says exactly these same words when he reported Obama being reelected?
Same facts
GMTA
>>> Does anyone know what the heck Shep Smith is talking about?
Let me rephrase, does Shep know what he’s talking about?
Apparently he got a heads up before the rest of us.....
His mascara must have spoiled.
I dare him to go shake hands with the so far uninflected nurses from Dallas. The ones who cared for the man who should not have been allowed into the US. The ones from the first two days. Yes, shake their hands tomorrow.
We do not know everything there is to know about how this disease is spread
There have been confirmed transmissions in the US
And the CDC has done very little to prevent its spread here.
So, yes I'm concerned.
Shep is the queen of panic.
First of all, unless CDC and Obozo have hid the data, there haven’t been 2 health workers in Texas dying from ebola.
The ‘Shep’ should be forced by management to watch the real Fox News people discussing our Ebola problem.
Even the Fox Business people blamed today’s stock market losses on Ebola concern.
right now, the entrovirus is far more dangerous. It’s just not as overtly icky, while being much more contagious.
“If you can keep your head while those about you are losing theirs ... perhaps you have misread the situation.”
Yes, shake their hands tomorrow.”
At least we know BO won’t be going anywhere near Dallas for a fundraiser in the near future. Out of every crisis there is an unexpected positive note.
