CHICAGO - Some say he's a potential 2016 GOP presidential candidate - and he's not discouraging that kind of talk. U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, R-Texas, will be headlining a breakfast fundraiser for the 43rd Ward Republicans and the Chicago Republican Party on Wednesday, October 22, two weeks before the election.
"We're grateful that Senator Cruz is helping our effort in Chicago," said Chris Cleveland, 43rd Ward Republican Committeeman. "It's rare to get someone of his stature for a local ward organization."
The proceeds will go to support Republican candidates running in the City of Chicago.
The breakfast event is at DePaul University's Cortelyou Commons, 2324 N Fremont St in Chicago, 8:00 am - 9:00 am, October 22. Tickets are $40. Purchase tickets here.

"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldnt make any sense at all." -- President Ronald Reagan |

How long will it be before there are demonstrations in the streets against Cruz being allowed to speak in Chi-town? How does he have the temerity to do this?
