Obama utterly failed in his most basic responsibility, to keep America safe. He is the Chief Executive in charge. Ebola was a known threat. His policies allowed it to come to the US. Obama cannot hid behind congress, or behind some bureaucrat. Obama owns this miserable failure. May his soul burn in hell.

While the worries over Ebola at times seem to border on paranoia, the concerns in this case may be justified: Ebola has an over 50% fatality rate for anyone who's infected, and now some scientists think the infamous Black Death that killed 1/3 of the European population between 1346 and 1353 may have been a virus related to Ebola, not the yersinia pestis bacterium that causes bubonic plague.

This issue, plus the serious political instability in the Middle East and the slowdown in the world economy caused by the Russia-Ukraine conflict that has hurt European economic activity, has become a major political nightmare for the Democrats.

HuffPo is trying to spin it this way:

1. We would have had a cut if not for ‘budget cuts’;

2. Texas suffered ‘poetic justice’ (what one comment actually said) because they rejected Obamacare;

Van Jones said the ‘government shutdown’ Ted Cruz types could do nothing to help Ebola.

Some reallllllly strained reasoning from leftists on this one. I think it’s a total loser for Dems.
