Where does Reince Preibus and John Boehner (for instance) stand on the issues of gay marriage, marijuana legalization and abortion?

What say you?

Priebus said that the issue of same-sex marriage was not a “top-tier” issue, but where does he and Boehner stand beyond that on that issue and on the issues of abortion and marijuana legalization?

The stuff has moved whether it's on abortion, whether it's on gay marriage, whether it's on marijuana legalization.

Including marijuana legalization in there is idiotic. It is the constitutionally consistent position.

It’s undeniable that the left has lied and bullied its way to gains on ‘gay marriage’ and dope, but since when is it true that they’re winning on abortion? Seems to me that the pro-life movement is unbowed, unbroken and has scored quite a fair number of small victories lately.

Do you have to ask? They no longer even ‘stand’ on those issues at all, if it can be avoided. From a certain perspective, it’s understandable that the GOP leaders do not champion the core conservative causes and beliefs. Why should they, when all the judges are ruling against Traditional ways of living and marrying. The best hope is to slowly seed the judiciary with new conservatives over a few years, so that some of this can be reversed. Logic has been largely flushed down to toilet in the name of political correctness. How else to explain Christian Cakemakers losing their livelihood via legislation, talk show pundits and Twitter Wars? No one with any power is standing up for these people, who are being steamrolled by fashionable laws.

The Culture war has to be won through the culture, not in the courts and not in politics. Ultimately courts and the law simply reflect the culture.

Winning the culture war requires paying more attention to what is happening in public education, from elementary school to graduate university programs.

Then pay attention to media and entertainment.

That’s where the battle has been lost.

Why would any conservative accept Chuck’s “helpful” suggestions? He’s nothing but a saboteur.

Hey Chuck, why do you suggest surrender to Satan?

Do you really believe the killing babies and condoning unnatural acts is something to give up on?

Chuck Todd wouldn’t know a principle if he tripped over it.

Has gay marriage won anywhere? The only gains its made is via courts. I know it polls better but to me that’s more a dynamic of respondents not wanting to be called homophobes - as they see how the gay mafia works. Who is to say your name phone won’t be published to some website following the poll. These people are professional Nazis.

Are liberals going to give up on gun control?

No. The Culture wars have a direct effect on the 1st amendment & fiscal issues. Gays sueing a Christian business demanding they celebrate the gay lifestyle is not something The GOP or Libertarians should embrace.

Wasn’t it 1857 when another media dandy, T. Chuck Fodd of the Fayetteville Democrat Party organ “Greet the Hack Newsman”, asked, “In the wake of the recent Supreme Court’s decision in the Dred Scott case, isn’t it time abolitionists surrender on the social issues?”

Seems as though plenty of folks thought in 1857, after the Supreme Court spoke, the issue was settled. Plenty of folks who were wrong.

The culture wars at the moment need to take a back seat to the massively serious situations going on with Isis and Ebola.

If the GOPe, conservatives, tea partiers and libertarians can’t come together and vote GOP on November 4th in every federal, state and local race, then Lord help us.

This may be the most important national election we’ve had in many, many years coming up in three weeks. A message needs to be sent. We can fight the culture wars after we isolate and neutralize Obama politically.

Typical leftist tactic.

Use the heavy hand of government [unelected black robes] to pass your agenda, then declare victory and call for your opponent to quit.

Abortion, homosexuality...all of these were done by black robed tyrants.

Did you see Fox News go after Tony Perkins on “gay marriage”? I just saw the clip (I refuse to watch ANY of that “news entertainment” drivel). Obviously the Corporation Overlords got the word out and the gay “marriage” is good for business.

Should we give up on the culture wars? Well, of course not. Are we losing them? Big time. Why? It’s good for business and that’s all that matters in our Republic anymore.

We should not cave. We should clean up the courts AND put people with courage at the head of the party.

Culture War? I think if there is going to be a “war”, the conservatives will win.

I think by the first of the year, things will be in such crappy shape the issues that upset folks today will seem insignificant.
