I hope they learn from this nurse what went wrong. I still think they are underestimating this disease.
But I am happy that no more cases have been reported in Texas. If Duncan was contagious from the 24th to the 26th when he was hospitalized, we are now 12 days past that. Too early to sound the all clear, but since Duncan developed symptoms on what’s thought to be the 9th day since he was exposed, the odds are good we won’t see any additional cases. Of course Duncan could have been exposed before helping the pregnant lady, which would mean it took longer than 9 days for him to develop symptoms.
