Ebola is in the news everywhere. We're learning a lot. One question that has yet to be asked, let alone answered, is who is paying for the cost of Thomas Duncan's medical treatment, and how just big is the bill?

The freelancer, Ashoka Mukpo, 33, was hired Tuesday to be a second cameraman for NBC News Chief Medical Editor and Correspondent Dr. Nancy Snyderman. Snyderman is with three other NBC News employees on assignment in Monrovia, reporting on the Ebola outbreak.
Mukpo came down with symptoms on Wednesday, feeling tired and achy.

A lot, but not for long, and you are.
On the good side, they say they are trying experimental treatment on him, so I suppose we may benefit long term from having a patient for doctors to test it on.
Could have been a trial balloon story. Everyone is still believing the media and CDC. Color me astounded.
My Sister-in-law (Doctor's wife) had an interesting theory:
When Duncan went to the hospital the first time and was given some antibiotics and sent home, instead of being immediately admitted and isolated, perhaps it was because they found out that he had no health insurance?
