I saw that. Cars and people nearby and runoff going who knows where. I can't wash a car without splashing myself with impact spray from the hose. This guy was using a pressure washer!
The lack of common sense and intelligence in this country has become an epidemic of its own. I have a suspicion (completely baseless, I admit) that the first nurse Duncan saw probably didn't know where Liberia was or had never heard of it...one of many in this land who don't pay attention to current events but know more about the sex lives of the cast of Dancing with the Real Housewives of Sons of Anarchic Vampires than is healthy. I have no facts at all to prove this, but...

Probably not a nurse. ER Admitting is too often an affirmative action job, because its not even a full step above jail attendant.
Had to carry Better Half to ER and even at our “Good Hospital”, ER was like a zoo and the ER Admitting person checking in had a completely unconcerned attitude.
The one at Presbyterian ER probably thought he meant he had been at the library.

We could have a full-fledge pandemic and the people at my workplace would still be talking about sports and gossip. Nobody mentions current events, I brought up the recent developments on the Ebola case to one of em and he was surprised. Do these people even watch the news? I can’t imagine not taking the time to find out what’s going on in the world I live.
