Fourteen months of going hat in hand to the UN and Congress for permission to take them out, along with organizing a coalition of more than 30 allies, allowed time for most of the weapon stores to be transferred to Syria. Where they are now or will soon be available to ISIS and its various manic manifestations. Why this case was never strongly made and why the Bush administration went completely supine is, at least for me, the real mystery.

I don’t know that I buy the argument that Iraq’s WMD’s were sent to Syria. There isn’t really any evidence out there that this happened.
