I am glad you understood where I was going with that. Kosher butchering is done much the same way.
Knowing where your food is coming from is important. It doesn't just amorphously show up in a foam tray, wrapped at the supermarket.
And yes, I think this practice is to declare the victim no better than the animals you butcher in the world of Islam. One would never think that in a modern world that practice would carry over to humans or be part of psy-ops in war.

The Muslims got down to the nitty gritty on your farm. They can buy lambs at the store in Styrofoam same as I do. But for holidays some at least like to get into the butchery. It varies by country but more Muslims have seen and engaged in animal butchery than Americans. They relish participating and bring the children to see the tradition and eventually participate
We do have a hunting tradition here. Those are wild animals. Muslims like killing domesticated animals. Look at this photo of a camel breaking loose when the Muslims tried to slaughter it for EID All done on a public street in Pakistan with lots of onlookers. It is entertainment for them
