So many outright false statements, so little time to rebut.

I won’t bother.

Stupid people justify the stupid actions of other stupid people, and it seems to be a badge of honor for those who have decided to disregard reality in order to justify their own beliefs even if those beliefs are absurd.

It all comes down to the nature of low-information people. They hear half a story, or the very early telling of a story, and get upset and foam at the mouth about it. In time, when the full story comes out and shows their initial reaction was clearly wrong, they simply can’t take it, and build up ever more absurdities to show themselves and the world that they were “right all along.” It becomes a matter of pride. My guess is that a good half of the country is like this. These are the same people who think Obama can’t be wrong because they voted for him.
