Beck's latest line, America shouldn't act according to it's interests, it should act in accordance with it's values is especially pernicious because it is exactly opposite of what should be.

Its exactly the same argument Obama is using to disassemble the nation.

If you believe America is the shining city on the hill then American interests are intrinsically good and are in line with American values.

American interests are easily identifiable. By ignoring them we allowed our leaders to define our "values" in any nebulous manner that suits their personal motivations. As Obama is doing with the 'children' currently invading our southern border.
