I use Facebook. I'm not feeding the beast, I'm using the beast. And the beast is too dumb to know.
I’ve not had problems when posting links to FR articles and other conservative content in my FB page. I also have no problem seeing what my friends have for lunch, or hearing about how their kids swing on the curtains. That kind of drama is not for everyone, and for me it must be accessed in moderation.

FR uses admins/moderators to keep content within defined norms.
FB, otoh, largely uses automation and algorithims. There’s simply too much content out there to have enough staff to monitor.
Once people understand this, manipulating how FB deals with objectionable content isn’t all that hard. Just start getting people to hit the abuse button: there’s a threshold where pages get locked down, where human FB staff have to investigate and unlock, etc.
The Left is just quicker and better, more organized about it, than we are. If we could get our act together we could start automatically shutting down Liberal pages. At a rate Which would overwhelm the ability of FB staff to investigate and unlock. Which would draw heat off of Conservative pages.
Anyone remember Google Bombing? Same concept. Except it became passé when Conservatives engaged and suddenly searches on “Miserable Failure” returned links to John Kerry-related websites, not George W Bush ones.
Impossible? Nope. Just because the likes went down is not evidence of facebook manipulation. There is no ground swell out there for impeachment so I am not surprised. There should be but there isn’t.
What is needed is to get conservatives IT types to work for facebook and get inside and gather real evidence and expose them.
Either with programmable controls or human intervention FB can and has the right to control what pass across their domain.

Thats true, in theory and principle.
In practice there’s just too much information being posted out there for them to effectively control content, and lots of good opportunity for mischief making to take advantage of the automation.

Sorry, but the sudden, sharp decline is not a natural regression, and I’m not sure why you’re disinclined to believe that Facebook does it, when the evidence is overwhelming (and they’ve ADMITTED they do it), not just from Renew America, but many other pages as well. If you understand Facebook, you know that such a dramatic decline beginning on a single day after months of rapid increase doesn’t just “happen,” because “likes” and shares beget even more, not the other way around.
The desire for impeachment is huge out here, but the media will not let you know it—kinda like Facebook won’t.
