CDC Senior Scientist William Thompson has alleged that a 2004 study he co-authored omitted key data that would have revealed a link between autism and a commonly-required childhood vaccine, MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella).
I regret that my coauthors and I omitted statistically significant information in our 2004 article published in the journal Pediatrics. The omitted data suggested that African American males who received the MMR vaccine before age 36 months were at increased risk for autism, said Thompson in a statement issued through his attorney Wednesday.

Because you asked if I died from childhood diseases and I am 64 years old.
“But you wont post your proof why not?”
Are you saying vaccines don’t work?
“Are you saying something stupid again ?”
Like this? “Vaccinate your kids against childhood diseases”
Is that stupid?
“But I thought herd immunity worked...didnt you say so up thread?”
No. It does work, but that is not the condition of the US today with rampant illegal immigration.
Except that herd immunity doesn’t work when the life of the vaccination isn’t as long as hoped for. It’s been an experiment, on the brains of a generation or two.
Oh good, so you survived childhood illnesses!
Very
[my answer being no more specific than your stupid statement]
“Very”
Then you lack the cognitive tools to know just how ignorant you really are. I hope you don’t kill any children - yours or others - with that ignorance.
“Except that herd immunity doesnt work when the life of the vaccination....”
Then you do not understand “herd immunity” and why it’s a bad idea. You should not rely on anyone else to prevent YOUR children from getting preventable childhood diseases.
I do understand it...it doesn’t work. Only if vaccines were infallible and worked in reality the way they are portrayed. They don’t.
Someone wanted a study. Below is one I find fascinating:

“Only if vaccines were infallible and worked in reality the way they are portrayed. They dont.”
Nobody expects or claims vaccines to be infallible. But the ARE the most effective means of preventing childhood disease. However, autism is simply not one of the proven risks of vaccines.
NOT vaccinating your kids is a much riskier strategy than vaccinating them - that is - many many more kids die or are damaged by the disease than by the vaccine - which have a very low risk associated with them (but not zero).
You’re effectively saying “don’t put seat belts on your kids because they don’t prevent accidents”.
It’s an inane and possibly insane argument you are making.
If it just affected you, I wouldn’t care. But you are justifying an act of parental irresponsibility in not vaccinating your kids. It will kill children if people listen to you. They shouldn’t listen to anything you have to say on the subject.
Good Grief ! Your SOAP BOX is a pill !
You are obviously typing from your mother’s basement
and being PAID !
I call TROLL <============================
Can you contribute something meaningful to the conversation? If not just play quietly in the corner while the adults talk.
Audio with transcript here:

Below is the audio from a telephone interview I conducted with the CDCs Dr. DeStefano this week, so you can hear his reasoning in his own words. For his part, Thompson says he is not speaking to reporters. I am providing information to Congressman William Posey, and of course will continue to cooperate with Congress, Thompson said.
Trying to get rid of you and your nonsense on this thread seemed to me to be doing something meaningful.
TROLL
“your nonsense “
Yes, You should always endeavor to get rid of nonsense like “Vaccinate your kids against preventable diseases”
What is it that has you so unhinged about preventing the death of children by giving them vaccinations?
Are you some kind of subcontracted grim reaper or something?
Maybe you’ve been bitten by a rabid raccoon. If you hurry you might be able to get the vaccine for that and cure the dementia associated with active rabies.
Vaccines save lives, even yours.....
How do you feel about antibiotics? Are those allowed?
You keep saying the same ol’ line - but offer no proof.
Fear tactics don’t equal truthful tactics.
What I’m really effectively saying, is don’t over medicate children. Don’t medicate at all if you don’t know the consequences. Don’t blindly trust the doctor’s or the gov. Parents have the God given authority and instinct to parent including health decisions. Those decisions should be based on research not fear.
“but offer no proof.”
The proof is obvious. Since the days of Louis Pasteur, the results have been documented billions of times. Billions.
“Parents have the God given authority and instinct to parent including health decisions. Those decisions should be based on research not fear.”
Absolutely. And parents have the ability to make the wrong and even stupid decisions for their children, which is what you are advocating people do when it comes to childhood vaccines. You can’t ignore these diseases. They will kill children.
Today parents in Africa would do anything to have a vaccine against Ebola. Typhoid, yellow fever have killed millions, but not now - if you have a vaccine.
“Those decisions should be based on research not fear.”
You’ve got it backwards. You amplify the very small risk of getting a vaccination and use it as an excuse to not protect your children against the very real risk of diseases and/or their complications that is many orders of magnitude greater.
Nobody should listen to you, not if they love their children.
Do you work in the pharmaceutical industry?
