When exactly did mankind have the ability to control the climate. You can't lose something you never had. But he's an "earth system scientist," whatever that is, so he must know what he's talking about. And he's obviously very scared.

Reminds me of that weird black and white photo series of Valerie Plame and her circus barker of a husband, who were so terribly, terribly upset at the life-threatening “outing” they’d experienced. Just devastated I tells ya, poor Val was in full swoon. There was a funny, captioned sendup posted here, Jochka? Something like that.

These so-called ‘scientists’ are different forms of ‘ecologist’. It would be as if a groups of ‘Unicornologist’ were concerned people didn’t believe in Unicorns. And the damage unicorns could do... a variation on circular reasoning
I glanced at the pictures, seema the only real scientist in the group was an Oceanographer.
