And not all of them are bad things. Given the facts as presented, I'd be hard pressed to convict the shooter on anything. Not that I believe the press.

If you are to the point where you feel the need to pull your weapon, you need to be damn sure of yourself. In my agency, there was no such thing as a warning shot. It was two shots to center mass to neutralize the threat.
