The pressure on Dorian is to great for him to recant his original testimony.

Precisely the opposite. The evidence is coming out that proves Mike assaulted the officer. Dorian has to recant to protect himself. He has to recant in the face of this evidence or else his other claim that Mike stopped and put his hands up and begged for mercy cannot be used in court. And they are down to this claim only. It's the last thing they got. They will do anything to be able to cling to it.

I bet his lawyer would prevent him from changing his testimony.

Which one, Sharpton, Crump, or Holder ?

If Johnson recanted in full or in part, maybe it’s because some inconvenient reality sank in: when you are involved in a felony where someone is killed, even your co-felon, you are culpable for the death. Now that two autopsies and Wilson’s medical report disprove his original lies, Johnson’s motive is to throw Brown under the proverbial bus, and pretend he was shocked, shocked by Brown’s sudden theft and assaults.

Excerpt from script: “Then I said, ‘Don’t do anything else unlawful, Mike. You already embarrassed us with the cigar stunt and hitting a cop. Let’s cooperate fully....’ and put my hands up. But Mike rushed the officer, despite my efforts to hold him back.”
