KFI Los Angeles was just discussing this video...
Oh no it is not subsidized housing. And yeah I know - Sharpton there to race-bait, cops are no angels. It is a mess.
I was only referring to this scene depicted in this video, which apparently set into motion events that followed...
Everything that followed a completely different story than this shooting scene.
Ya lost me there.
He didn’t take the officer’s gun, he reached for it. I don’t know if it was before or after he punched the officer. I suspect it was before.
And we know this how?
I hope I never have to be judged by a jury of my Freeper peers.
Lol. The easily offended better move to another planet because this one has gone off the rails.
Dead people don’t get ambulances, they get the coroner’s vehicle.
The script on the screen at the end of the video is the 'question' I refer to. It may not have been in the form of a question, if that misled you. I would have to go back and watch it again to provide you with the exact words.
Didn't you watch the video ?
Yes I viewed the video several times...
BTW, I am interested with the crime scene in the video, the position of the vehicle, the body etc...not the words someone stuck on the video or the audio for that matter.
Thanks
If the the evidence markers are the red cones, this would seem to suggest a physical struggle possibly continued from the vehicle to where the suspect was fatally shot.
The fatal shot appears to be a head wound. This would have likely dropped the suspect dead at or very near where the body's is seen on the video laying in the street.
Just a hunch but based on this it would also suggest, if the cones are evidence markers for casing which is likely, the fatal shot was fired very close to where the body was located on the street.
All speculation of course, just based on what I am seeing on this video...
It's possibly there was a struggle from the vehicle, all the way to where the suspect dropped. Yep, the struggle could have been over the officers weapon.
Then again....There are other possible scenarios...
Why nothing could be fairer than that!
The jury would be half cop-lovers or actual cops, the other half, fervent supporters of the vic. But why worry! You wouldn't even get to trial. You would be picked off at 1,000 meters with a silenced Barrett .50 by the FR gunners.
Mike* Brown's mysterious, untimely, and very messy demise also illustrates another great principle of American jurisprudence. Everyone entitled to their very own set of facts and the God-given right to replace the family TV with a really big flat-screen for FREE!
*Condolence to his family. RIP. (and thanks for naming him "Michael" and not something like "Mikuelicious.") Their calls for neighborhood peace and calm do them much credit
Michael did steal from the store. Cigars.
Michael did "assault and batter" the store owner. That's on surveillance cam tapes.
There is an official police report.
The officer attempting the arrest was assaulted by Michael and was injured. Stand by. Still lots of questions.
Agreed.
Correct. Also, at the beginning of the videos, it is stated that this happened “immediately” after the shooting, but I don’t think so.
I was assuming that the officer knew Michael was the suspect in a robbery. He very well might not have known that at the time. No way for us to know with the facts on hand at this time.
It takes a long time to get at the basic facts.
Thanks for that Bunk...Read it late last night...
But the trial if there is one, will be about the shooting and Brown’s death...Hopefully they’ll be allowed to bring in his background which will likely occur as the strong arm robbery appears to have occurred just prior to the shooting.
But again, the big focus will be all about the shooting itself.
My hunch is it will boil down to the cops word against a cabal of questionable witnesses. I believe some of these witnesses have already made inconsistent statements. A trial should reveal that.
In fact, if I were the cop and if this were a legitimate shoot which very likely could be, I’d want my version of the event out there, or demand at least the preliminary shooting investigation be released.
All this waiting for the investigation to be revealed is only fueling negative wild speculation that the cop and his bosses are holding back and fear revealing their version of the event.
I really want to read the official version of the event from the officer involved in the shooting, since it was nearly a week ago he was interviewed and put in writing his version of this event.
I personally think it’s probably a real good time to get that out there.
