Looks like a doxie pup. I’ve seen dachshunds used to hunt snakes and badgers. They’re vicious. As the owner of a geriatric doxie, I can attest to their pig headedness.
Are you referring to the cute little brown puppy the older guy on the left of the picture is holding in his left hand?
