I'm from NJ, and used to use the Holland Tunnel to get home from a construction project I was engineering in Chelsea, @26th and 10th. At rush hour, you look for every side street to bypass Canal Street to get into the Tunnel. The activity on the sidewalks would be both, entertaining and disgusting at the same time, to say the least!
