There’s the 80/20 rule, unless your parish has 100% participation in activities (which would make it unique). Otherwise, 80% of the work is done by 20% of the members. I am not saying that all American Christians sit around on our behinds, but most of us are not going to Liberia or outside our own communities either.

No participation is far less than that. I am talking about the people who I know. They work, they support their families and they help others in many ways.
They do not sit on their behinds all day.
