From my own experience with the civil justice system, it is nothing about right and wrong but in reality it is just a life support system for attorneys. I know this is a broad brush accusation, but I see it all to often.

So the crime happened four years ago, and some jailhouse lawyer is only now bringing civil suit? Personally, I'd like to see this go to trial, if I could be on the jury. But I'd get thrown out for LMAO listening to the testimony, and detailed medical reports.

Improper use of stun guns by police? I'd offer a compromise of two weeks of intensive training of the proper use for the whole department. Can't let that happen improperly again.

The employees should be lauded for a proper response, but reprimanded for forgetting that display of a weapon by the perp requires either instant termination, or a comprehensive beatdown before calling the police to take the report.
