They are scaring their base into donating money by saying “those nasty evil republicans are going to try and impeach our messiah, we need funds to fight these haters!”
They know there is no chance of Obama being convicted in the US Senate as long as democrats control it (actually even if establishment republicans control it).
So they are using it as a campaign scare tactic to get their base and big donors to build up a pool of cash to fight those evil hating House republicans, and Sarah Palin too!
