I have a friend in Indiana who uses Ooma, but I was under the impression that Ooma was just for TV....it wasn’t a phone line kind of thing. Something else for me to research!

She says Ooma works fine but again, I don’t know details on if/how it replaces a landline. They use Frontier for internet and vonage VOIP thru their PC for their telephone. You need some kind of high speed internet in order to use VOIP, I believe.

Oops, I stand corrected. She does not use Ooma, they have Roku thing for TV. They use Vonage for the phone which does require a high speed internet connection.
