I have seen and heard this a number of times leading to to and shortly after Obama was elected.
One, a very young black man right after the results in a pub screaming:
’ now we gonna get sh@t!, good sh@t!, white people sh@t! ‘
Shortly after asking him what he thought would change in his life without his own effort's he sort of stared at me, composed himself and called me a ‘ MF racist! ‘ - and was promptly escorted out the door by the bouncer ( also black )
Another was a drinking buddy of mine. A smart guy who always
exhibited Conservative values. But he claimed it was now:
” time for us to have one of our own in there so we can get the sh@t you whites have been gettin’ from white presidents “
I was blown away - completely blown away.
Still am.
Well by now HIS conspiracy theory has been well debunked!
They sent a black man to Washington. He served himself.

Because it is true. There was a settlement against the agri dept. who, it was said, would not lend to farmers who were black, women, or Hispanics. All you had to do was file for and say you were at a certain time one of the 3 classes I mentioned and you got I think 50k. It was extended when not enough applied for it and amounted to several millions or billions of dollars. I can’t remember all the details. Holder pushed it and explained that you did not have to have any evidence that it had happened, it was purely on the “honor system”. It was rift with fraud and in our area a bunch of Cadillacs suddenly appeared driven by black folks who I doubt had ever been on a farm. I had not farmed during that period but my wife had and could have gotten it but would not.
