Clinton: Speaking fees 'donated'
The Hill ^ | July 4, 2014 | Rachel Huggins

Hillary Clinton on Friday defended her six-figure speaking fees, saying she's donated all the money earned from colleges over the past year to her family's foundation.

“All of the fees have been donated to the Clinton Foundation for it to continue its life-changing and life-saving work. So it goes from a foundation at a university to another foundation,” she told ABC News on Friday.

The former secretary of State and potential 2016 presidential contender reportedly charges about $200,000 for speaking engagements.

Clinton recently drew fire from University of Nevada Las Vegas students who threatened to protest an upcoming fundraiser she's scheduled to host at the school unless she returns the $225,000 fee.

When asked to respond to the students' plea, Clinton did not indicate she would adhere to their request.

“It’s been my experience,” Clinton said, “That they’re not worried about my speaking or my household, they’re worried about their own. And that’s the kind of debate I think I’m furthering as I go around the country speaking.”

Clinton's response comes after heightened speculation into her family's wealth as she promotes her new book, "Hard Choices." Last month, Clinton told ABC's Dianne Sawyer that she and former President Bill Clinton were "dead broke" after his presidency.

I wonder what that Foundation’s books look like. What percentage of contributions go to good works versus perks and salaries, and what types of activities are funded. I’d bet it’s highly political.

So, when either Clinton gives a dinner or a speech, what counts is who gets on the list for brining in the money. What they are peddling is influence. And, by running the funds through their Foundation, they can do it in a tax advantaged manner!

A check from their foundation was used to purchase their New York house. The IRS would never allow you or me to do that.

“Donated to the family foundation”...yeah, right. The slush fund she means. What a pathetic degenerate making a desperate sick joke. She is definitely brain damaged.

I took a quick look at the Foundation’s books in the past few minutes. Anyone interested can google “clinton foundation form 990.”

As of the end of 2012, the foundation had a net worth of $211 million. In that year, they appear to have delivered about 70 million in charitable donations in the form of something labeled “UNITED AID Commodities”, which I think is farm implements for Africans. To deliver that aid, they had $50 million in salaries, $10 million in various communication and operating expenses.

The 2012 end of year net balance was roughly 110 million in property (what does a Foundation need that much property for?) and $100 million in cash.

What a scam.

Her “foundation” is probably very similar to George Costanza’s The Human Fund.....

This is similar to Bishop Romney, who belongs to a cult where giving 10% of your income is mandatory in return for full membership and entrance into the religion’s secretive temples, and becoming a God in the future, yet he gets credit for giving vast sums to “charity”.

Absolutely not. You'd have to justify every square foot of space and every expense, and pro-rate out your personal use.

” All of the fees have been donated to the Clinton Foundation”

That is, their private slush fund. And they get to put it in there tax free! Aren’t liberals generous?

A disgustingly corrupt foundation as has been written up in even lib newspapers. Who does she think she’s fooling? The 47%? They barely know her name!

Well, that's really going to pacify the students...NOT!

She's a condescending witch.

The foundations money-laundering gig has to end. It’s a shell game. Pure fraud with a slim veneer that makes it all legal. If we all agree it’s legal, hey, who’s to quibble. Liberal foundation gives to another liberal foundation that gives to a liberal think tank. Rinse. Repeat.

Imagine: if NBC paid Chelsea Clinton $600K to do nothing, what is the Clinton Foundation paying her? Again, to do nothing.

I went looking for the article on the foundation paying for the house in New York. But I had to run through pages of Clinton propaganda. But way into the lot is this gem.
