Courts and judges don’t like it when you play them for fools. It can even land you in jail

They are democrats and are above the law. Plus, they have the media to run propaganda for them.

An advantage of committing a crime like this “loss” inside a huge bureaucratic organization is that nobody is actually responsible for anything. Almost nobody “does” anything themselves. So, it will turn out that each bureaucrat gave the correct orders and some 18 year old unpaid summer intern actually made the “mistake” that lost the emails.
Everybody goes on to collect their pension and then take a cush job at some university where they get an office they never visit and another 30 years of pay and benefits.
