US pilots loved low-flying over the Russian barracks on approach to Templehoff... so the windows would rattle....:)

This went on non-stop and was a truly Herculean accomplishment. How quickly the world forgets!!

I was stationed in West Berlin from 84-88. The US had a contingency plan to resupply Berlin in the event of another blockade.
