In Chinese they basically don’t have pronouns so they use the word “he” for all genders. It makes it interesting when listening to a native Chinese speak English. They interchange “he” and “she” in their speech and, generally, have no idea they are doing it.

Adult people are slow to grasp another language's concept, a language is a thing that structures a person's mind. This is the reason why those transgender pronouns are doomed to failure.
