Editorial page editor and amnesty supporter Phil Boas is late to the political reality table with his Quick Hit titled, “Reagan taking hard line on migrants but is a moderate.”

He writes, “Despite her latest pose, Secretary of State candidate Michele Reagan is an immigration moderate. Understanding the mess SB 1070 created, Reagan worked largely behind the scenes to kill five follow-up immigration bills. If leading Republicans such as U.S, Senators John McCain and Jeff Flake could recast themselves as border hardliners to win primary elections, it’s no surprise down-ballot Republicans such as Reagan would do the same.”
