Having seen his parents, none of this is remotely surprising. What is interesting is that after his time with those beloved Afghan villagers, he didn’t want to see his parents anymore. Pretty sure he grew up brainwashed by them and now he knows better.

Right. Parents are, at least the father is, obviously deranged. Mom probably quietly nuts, acquiesces in the family insanity. But Obama seemed to like her just fine...
