Headlines and assumptions like this allow the media and Dems to snark and broad brush the IRS scandal as one big right wing conspiracy. Dumb article.

We need Lois Lerner’s emails to see if she was coordinating with Democrats and/or White House re: targeting of conservatives. Not because we believe the emails show funding to terrorists. Ridiculous, and damaging to the cause.

I agree with you. Not having (and producing) the emails is a crime in and of itself. There is no oops here. They were required to have them, and to have backups of them. Up to six employees had their hard drives crash? Really? So on top of the crime of not having the emails, there is an extremely likely (approaching 100%) that there was destruction of evidence. These are facts, not conspiracy theories. And of course, if someone is going to risk going to jail by destroying evidence, then there must be some really incriminating evidence on these hard drives. We are well beyond the ‘not a smidgen’ phase.
