U.S. Army Sgt. Evan Buetow, Bowe Bergdahl’s former team leader, said that Bergdahl appeared to be in better shape after his captivity than the members of his squadron who had to search for him. Buetow stated that in the video of Bergdahl’s release into US custody “he actually looks a little bigger than he was when he left and I thought we all looked a lot worse than he did out there looking for him.” He added Bergdahl “looked pretty good. He looked big, he looked healthy.”
Buetow also reiterated his earlier statements that he thinks “it is abundantly clear what happened and what [Bergdahl’s] intent was....

What I don’t get is why his sperm donor was sporting a beard at the White Hut supposedly to enjoy the same experience Bergdahl was experiencing. Bergie didn’t have a beard when he was a Taliban guy.
Two years of solitary confinement in the hot box is a spa resort style vacation, apparently.
Not only is there no evidence of any kind, it is a logistical challenge to keep people in solitary for a couple of months in regular, organized prisons without them dying - let alone in a magical Taliban "hot box."
The last person to rely on for an accurate account of time in solitary confinement is the prisoner.
If someone put you in a dark box with no human contact for two months and told you it had been two years, you'd believe it. No light and no human contact remove all points of reference.

Did anybody else notice the quality of the food he was given by the Taliban? At least he wasn’t starved as a ‘Prisioner of War’ if he was one.
