Years ago, when Texas was considering its marriage amendment, activist homosexuals responded with disdain toward Gov Perry. He told them that if they didn't like the laws of Texas, they were free to move to another state more to their liking.
He moved up a few rungs on the ladder of respect in my eyes on that day.
