Yes, I know it. My last years in the Smokies were from Waynesville. A friend of mine had family from Waynesville.
In his later years he moved there. Across the street from him was a ham radio friend of mine. He did summer in Waynesville, and winter in Sebring.
It is all gone with the wind. :(
That(The Smokies) is one of the prettiest places in the East. I think Yellowstone is the west’s equivilent.
