Most of the people who had jobs paying less than the new minimum wage, won’t have jobs. Most of the people who made more than the minimum wage, will have their pay cut and workloads increased.

They just increased the cost of an unskilled full-time employee to $36-$40,000, before benefits. I see LOTS of automation in their future.
What’s funny is that here in Texas the minimum wage is the federally-mandated $7.25 an hour, yet hardly anyone is forced to work for that because our economy is humming along like a Swiss watch. The market is taking care of it.
