At some point these attacks are going to become just murders.
Haven't some people already died form these attacks?
Two days to walk to the hospital? The good citizens of Detroit couldn’t see something was wrong and help?
Were the perps young Irish boys?
When those targeted by this assault begin to fight back with full force, the ‘hooded ones’ will ask why they are being profiled. Eventually, the tables will turn on the guilty parties. Perhaps one way to fight this trend is to up the reward money for info that leads to a knockout thug being fingered, if not arrested. This is resetting the clock on race relations backwards at least by 50 years.
A few words added for accuracy.
I think so, but not that many in relation to the number of attacks.
The “good citizens of Detroit” is almost an oxymoron.
The DA just accepted a plea bargain of 3rd degree murder and robbery from 3 of the black males involved. They could be sentenced to as little as 6 yrs but may do 20- 40.
Still light for murder. They had the evidence to convict them for 2nd degree which is life no parole.
Probably German since Sylvan Lake is 94.5% white.
Well, your first observation is probably true. The law of diminishing returns will come into play. They will not get as much of a thrill that they did in the past, so the next step, is murder.
From what I have read this “game” started in 1992. In 1995 the rapper, LL Cool J, wrote a song called, “Mama Said Knock You Out.”

Cripple, how come you have a picture of a torn up American flag with your post?
Sylvan Lake is a nice quiet middle class town near the more wealthy areas of Oakland County, but it borders the battle zone called Pontiac. The stretch of Telegraph Road she was walking on was just outside Pontiac city limits.
If I’m not mistaken, Pontiac doesn’t even have a police department any more. It’s not unusual to run into vagrants and hoodlums in and near Pontiac.
That’s not true.
I think what looks like “tatters” are actually stars representing islands in Lake Michigan between the upper and lower peninsulas of Michigan.
Does that sound right, CC?
Interesting. I did not know it went that far back. But then again, I think whites have been getting killed for a long time. Maybe it is just the name it is called, that has only been around for that amount of time.
That song is not about the knockout “game”. Good grief.
“Mama Said Knock You Out” is a number-one hit single by LL Cool J from his album of the same name. The song famously begins with the line “Don’t call it a comeback/I’ve been here for years.” Before “Mama Said Knock You Out” was released, many people felt that LL Cool J’s career was waning; his grandmother, who still believed in his talent, told him to “knock out” all his critics...
LL Cool J said in his autobiography that the idea for the song came from a discussion with his grandmother. He had said to his grandmother that he felt that he couldn’t survive as a rapper now that gangsta rap was popular and he was being dissed by several up-and-coming rappers. She responded, “Oh baby, just knock them out!”[3] At the end of the video, his grandmother says “Todd! Todd! Get upstairs and take out that garbage”.
