I’m for the government “PROMOTING the general welfare.” That implies spending money, but not making regulations. If 0 wants to use some of his executive budget sending The Mooch around the country promoting healthy eating, go for it. I’m for healthy eating.

“That implies spending money, but not making regulations.”
You’re kidding right? How does an entity spend money without controlling spending. He who pays the piper calls the tune. Promoting the general welfare means to create conditions that would allow the best outcomes. Giving money to specific people or other entities is specific rather than general. It is not the federal government’s constitutional duty to feed school children. The idea that a conservative thins it OK to spend federal taxpayer money to second the President’s wife around the country to hector folks is rather disturbing.
Just for the record I am a long time “health nut”. All for healthful living.

It isn’t about healthy eating any more than Obamacare is about wanting us to have health care. It’s about control from cradle to grave and the sooner we hit the grave, the better for the gummit.

FUBO and MO!
