yep...my son went to his prom on Saturday and most of the after parties were real tame. No alcohol - just food, watching movies, games.

When I went in the 80's, quite a number of people got hotel rooms. One group of parents in our class rented a party bus, stocked it with a keg, and let their kids stay at a rented beach house. It appears much tamer now.

Our school has an "after Prom" sponsored by local businesses. They have games and movies (PG13). This year they are having Lazer Tag, Pizza (supplied by one of the local places at 1/2 price.
