I couldn’t agree more with you. People are attracted to the idea of being taken care of, given freebies, and promises of utopia. They want to live on Easy Street.
This naivete, greed and laziness is putting us on a destructive path and things will only worsen over time UNTIL it all eventually blows up. Then....the country will look to real leadership to get us out of the mess.
Unfortunately, in cases like that, despotism knows only too we’ll how to disguise itself as “real leadership” .
Spoiled, I’ll-educated and lazy mobs won’t know or care how
to make the critical distinction and ALL of us will be trapped in THEIR nightmare.
