HK guns are generally very fine but I have owned 2 which were dogs.
The first was an HK4 with a .32 and .22LR barrel. It worked fine with the .32 barrel but the .22LR was a jammer.
I also had a VP70 which had the worst trigger I have ever encountered. I think it was the first polymer pistol tho.

The VP70 was originally designed as a true machine pistol.When the detachable stock was put on,the thing ran 3 round bursts at some ridiculous high rate of fire.I have to agree about the poor trigger.
