Have they reviewed single-action pistols?

I've shot hundreds of rounds through Glocks, 9's and 45, and just can't get into the trigger.

1911's forever!

Hear! Hear!

I’m with you, grobdriver. I love my 1911’s. Spend a little time polishing the action, smoothing and tuning the rails, and I’ve been pleased with every one of them.
Stuff them with Chip McCormick Shooting Star 8-round mags (for the bad guys that can count) and I am well protected.

1911’s forever! You can take that to the bank!

The problem with DA pistols is staging* the trigger after shooting them at targets for a while. The time used up in staging the trigger can be the time-delay that makes you dead in a combat situation.

* that is: first cocking the hammer with the initial, heavy-pull part of the trigger travel, then sighting, and finally firing.

I love the 1911s. I used to shoot them in competition as part of a combat pistol team.
