Sounds like blustering for local consumption from this Obama-appointed, career long State Department Apparatchik.

The coup government is losing/has lost control of events now. Several tweets today about even areas of Western Ukraine may break away from Kiev, as well.

The Pro-Nazi demonstrations in Kiev the last couple of days presents some REALLY bad imagery.

The only thing worrying me is zer0 may want to kill more people to save his sorry butt. zer0 and his minions are opportunists and would kill their own mother and father if they thought their power would hold by doing the unthinkable. May I be wrong but with zer0 and his minions, in control, one can never predict their behavior (imho). If zer0 and his minions decide to throw another war over Ukraine may our Military decide not to go and may Congress do the right thing, for once, and arrest zer0 and his crowd. I know will never happen that Congress will arrest zer0 and his crowd, thus may our Military decide not to go.

Another view of the same story:

US ‘to react’ if Russia crosses into Ukraine

US ambassador to Ukraine warns of “inevitable, sharp reaction” by the US if Russian troops cross border into Ukraine.

This is turning into a slow moving Egypt - can’t the EU, UN and USA get anything right foreign policy wise? This would be a bad satirical french comedy if it wasn’t for the fact that people are dying because of this.

You're the one cheering on the Nazi Putin; he's the pan-Russian ultra nationalist, religious chauvinist, president-for-life, and richest man in the world.

I am WARNING you again Putin! IF you make more moves against Ukraine or the Baltic states....well......I.........I'll cut health care to my own troops, cut their pay, close their commissaries, take away their housing allowances, carve up their retirement, and that's just for starters! I'll furlough DoD engineers, doctors, nurses, and shipyard workers, - and then I'll terminate their jobs too! I'll send the KC-10 and A-10 to the boneyard, sink 2 aircraft carriers, and cut 150,000 uniformed troops. Whaddya think of THAT!?

"The coup government is losing/has lost control of events now."

As you already know from our previous discussions, you are propagating lies when you say "coup government" in reference to the lawfully elected parliamentary government that existed before and after Yanukovych vacated his office. As NATO observed when it refuted such false Russian propaganda:

Russian claims that the Ukrainian authorities are illegitimate

The current Ukrainian president and government were approved by an overwhelming majority in the Ukrainian parliament (371 votes out of 417 registered) on 27 February 2014, including members of the Party of Regions.

That parliament was elected on 28 October 2012. The Russian Foreign Ministry at the time declared that the elections were held “peacefully, without any excesses and in line with generally-accepted standards” and “confirmed Ukraine’s commitment to democracy and the rule of law.” The statement can be read in Russian here.

The parliament which Russia called legitimate then can hardly be called illegitimate now.

"Several tweets today about even areas of Western Ukraine may break away from Kiev, as well."

The Russian 14th Army in Transnistria has been busy infiltrating espionage agents, sabotage agents, and military Spetsnaz teams into the western Oblasts of the Ukraine to seize key objectives and incite the Russian minorities to rebel against the majority populace in the Ukraine, just as it did so in Moldova more than 20 years ago. So there is no reason to be surprised the Ukraine and its non-Russian are being victimized by state sponsored terrorism and terrorists under the direct command and control of Russia and Putin's Kremlin.

"The Pro-Nazi demonstrations in Kiev the last couple of days presents some REALLY bad imagery."

It says a lot when you selectively complain about the relatively very small number of marginalized NAZI sympathizers in the Ukraine, while you make excuse after excuse supporting the Fascist Russian crimes against the peace and crimes against humanity on a scale unmatched even by Adolf Hitler and the NAZIs of the Third Reich. Russia murdered far more people in the Ukraine than Germany and her Fascist Axis allies killed in the Second World War. Even now the Russians have begun the ethnic cleansing and persecution of non-Russians in the Crimea by forced emigraton and by closure of the Ukrainian language schools. Yet you spend your time in this forum decrying what the small number of Fascists are not accomplishing in the Ukraine and neglect or perhaps even defend the Fascist atrocities and killings being perpetrated by the Russian Fascists who have the most gruesome track record of murdering millions of Ukrainians in world history.

The fact is, at this point, the US is basically irrelevant to the events in and around Ukraine.

We essentially forfeited any real influence there and across Eastern Europe when Obama decided not to provide missile defense to the region and conceded space flight to the Russians.

Putin was clearly only waiting for the Olympics to be over with to enact a plan that has probably been a decade in the making. And certainly Ukraine is only the first stop on Mr. KGB’s magical mystery tour—the “Back in the USSR” tour, if you will.

In eastern Europe, we’re out, the Sovs are back in.

It’s just my opinion, but I doubt Obama is the least bit bothered by any of it. In fact...

Three big groups of Russian troops - North, Centre and South - have been put on combat alert near the Ukrainian eastern borders and in Crimea.

Admiral Ihor Kabanenko, a former deputy head of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, wrote it on Facebook.

zer0 is a useless coward.

that being said, we have our own tyrant regime here in America. we need to concentrate on that, and it is best that zer0 does not waste the truncated military we still have. zer0 has been successful converting the #1 superpower of the world to what is fast becoming a third world cowering rabbit of a nation.
hopefully we can rid America of this POS in 2+ years.

The “scenario” that has lead the US and the world to “such...tragic consequences” is Obama’s election and re-election to the Presidency of this once great nation!
