A tech question for source writers. My company is using the latest greatest version of cabnetware (planit). Every upgrade causes compatibility issues when accessing files written under previous versions.

More to the point I have told my upper management to download all closed accounts to a portable or standalone drive instead of archiving and delete the previous versions they were designed with.

It seems something will over ride commands from the design computer synced with the CNC - bypassing the set parameters- to a template (that exists) but is unincorporated. Randomly picking a "new" parameter.

Is it the ghost Of a Christmas passed coming back to haunt. Or just the dumbass design boy not paying attention and reassigning a modified cutlist?

I have used this design software extensively in younger versions versions and I just blamed the gremlins
