Didn’t you get that part about “not taking this to the taxidermist?”
I settle for the knife (suitably engraved with name, date, and location) hanging over the fireplace.

Don't think there is a 9mm SIG that holds 12 round unless someone forgot to load to capacity. Then again who carries a spare mag downloaded to 8.
Don't mind me though I'm just a damn yankee gun nut.

Winchester Silvertips are hollowpoints. That was the first thing I noticed.

A Yankee gun nut is a Yankee this Southerner is proud to know, and can get along with.

I try to listen carefully to my wifes instructions! Sadly I am deaf in one ear, I get in trouble a lot! :^ )

Texans rarely run out of ammo.Raised in Texas and Arizona, I can attest to that. Never without 50 rounds at least in Constitutional Carry Country. 500 if I have a car and a pack beast. Always in mags, ready to go.

Ended too early. The argument about taxidermy was just getting started.
And I would like to include an extra bit, of Texas and EC Horror Comic, showing the whole family, all now with sharpened teeth, having a BBQ with the decedent and all their sharp toothed friends.
