If the feds are the enemy of the people, then all who support the feds logistically are too.
Brilliant analysis!
My respect for Ted Cruz would grow enormously if hed show up at Bundys ranch . . . .
////////////////////////////
Same wavelength: I have been privately wondering today why Cruz, Lee, Rand Paul, and that great Cornyn have been so remarkably quite regarding this issue.
This is one of those times when silence does not bespeak courage.
“Tyranny leaves lasting scars, and each tyrannical act results in an accumulation of wounds on the public psyche that do not heal. In the end, a single event can become a trigger to unleash a torrent of rage pent up in a population for years or decades. The fight for Cliven Bundy’s farm has the potential to become such a trigger.”
Now we see the long train of abuses. Ruby Ridge and Waco seemed like isolated events in the 90s. At that time, the commie media could control the narrative and portray the resistors as nut jobs.
Not so anymore. The leftist legacy media is dying. The real villain, the federal government, is on full display for all those with eyes to see. The Bundys’ are gaining support on the ground, and the Feds are looking more like the SS everyday.
Sure, a lot of people don’t care because it interferes with their TV viewing. But that doesn’t matter because the ignorant and LIVs won’t matter to those involved in the struggle. When the SHTF, the Feds won’t take care of them, and those that fight for liberty will shrug them off.
Outstanding assessment by the author.
Sums up my position as well.
Passing this around
Good find Lorianne
What you said!
I just hope that the first to “snap” use only a baseball bat, and ensure they’ve got the right target.
It's called Normalcy Bias:
The normalcy bias, or normality bias, refers to a mental state people enter when facing a disaster. It causes people to underestimate both the possibility of a disaster occurring and its possible effects. This often results in situations where people fail to adequately prepare for a disaster, and on a larger scale, the failure of governments to include the populace in its disaster preparations. The assumption that is made in the case of the normalcy bias is that since a disaster never has occurred then it never will occur. It also results in the inability of people to cope with a disaster once it occurs. People with a normalcy bias have difficulties reacting to something they have not experienced before. People also tend to interpret warnings in the most optimistic way possible, seizing on any ambiguities to infer a less serious situation. The normalcy bias often results in unnecessary deaths in disaster situations. The lack of preparation for disasters often leads to inadequate shelter, supplies, and evacuation plans. Even when all these things are in place, individuals with a normalcy bias often refuse to leave their homes.
The normalcy bias also causes people to drastically underestimate the effects of the disaster. Therefore, they think that everything will be all right, while information from the radio, television, or neighbors gives them reason to believe there is a risk. The normalcy bias creates a cognitive dissonance that they then must work to eliminate. Some manage to eliminate it by refusing to believe new warnings coming in and refusing to evacuate (maintaining the normalcy bias), while others eliminate the dissonance by escaping the danger. The possibility that some may refuse to evacuate causes significant problems in disaster planning.[1]
In other words, if someone is a pessimist with paranoia, congratulations - they are most likely to survive :-) A perfectly good parachute does you no good if you refuse to put it on, citing that "this airplane had never crashed before."
> Nihilism is tempting for those people who are lazy and frightened and looking for a philosophical excuse to run away from making a stand. Claiming the fight is lost before it has truly begun is a longstanding tradition amongst millions upon millions of cowards through history.
I prefer to call it “kneelism” and it seems we have quite a few here that are sufferers who just seem to want to give up and throw in the towel. While I understand the frustration of dealing with the unprecedented tyranny we’re currently expressing there’s no way in hell I will just lay down and take it. Now’s not the time to give up. It’s ime to press on...
It is a war on the free people. Children of the free woman, not the ones whose inheritance (and preference) is bondage.
What is coming? The days of vengeance. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
Like the author says, the fedgov has been pushing us into a corner for decades now...This is nothing new...Big ugly events are coming, it's inevitable. I agree with the writer here.
And those who can't see this and or don't care are either stupid, mentally ill, are among all the kings men, on the government payroll in one form or another.
Why do you think HSA has purchased millions of bullets?
Wait! Hold On!....I have great concerns about any uprising of any magnitued unless it’s clearly organized and “policed” by those within it.
I say this because every stinking uprising gets infilitrated by gov. thugs or outside sources to “Push” it further in order to impliment Gov. crackdown and achieve another agenda much unlike it’s initial intent.
Look at all the nations who have had simple protests...where are those nations today.....and there ain’t going to be anybody coming here to negotiate any peace.
People who want to do this better be darn sure they can identify the “underlings” who will certainly push the use of violence....not to mention the dipwads who gather when ever there’s a fight possibility.
Our nation has multitudes of illegals and nationalities now, unlike in the Civil War.......I don’t think these can be controlled and in fact would likely be “hired on”. Just as has been done in other nations. We are not exempt.
Look what happened when the 99’ers or whatever that group was that set up tents etc.....all the rif- raf of the state and weirdos showed up...not to mention the criminal element.
This is a dangerous thing to consider....so there had better be some well laid plans and not just a gathering of angry Americans.
Better other means be used.....let’s stop paying tax’s or something.....cut off their “supply line”. There just has to be other ways.
Because they do not want to appear to support breaking the law.
If you want to take the country back, conservatives have to field better candidates and win elections first. You can not keep losing elections and expect the democrats to give you freedom & liberty.
Stop paying taxes? Good idea but impossible in reality. IRS has way too much power and people are afraid. Besides the gov’t has printing presses. They do not need your tax money to spend. The federal reserve is already giving the regime Trillion printed dollars every year to spend on handouts.
Still...there has to be another way than armed protests which would simply give the gov. exactly what they want to force everyone off the streets and further control of our nation.
I don’t favor anything that sets our police officers against it’s citizen’s in this matter. It’s nasty business all around....not to mention I can see a race war develope real fast as OB’ms folks would stand with this Government.
People need to really think of a better way then taking to the streets armed up and angry.....that will never work today. Too dangerous and too many thugs and criminal elements, along with the various “other” nationalities here in the US today.
It will look really interesting the day the EBT cards stop working.
You are correct. It is foolish to fight the Feds with violence. The only real choice is winning elections against democrats. Winning White House in 2016 is the only hope left. If Hillary wins, time to move to another country.
How's that going to work with votes being counted under Soro’s company in Spain? Voter fraud is an understatement today. We've heard the “system” is broken and that pretty much across the board.
I think Cruz has the right idea....he said...”I don't think the American people realize how close we are to taking back our Government.”..........We meaning he and others with him , and for the most part working quietly behind the scenes.
All you have to do is look what Putin did with Crimea....without a shot fired......he didn't interfere with the protests except for an occasional remark. Rather, and just as his years in Judo taught....he went with, and in fact moved ‘with’ the “enemy” until his time was right..and he caught everybody off guard.
I think Cruz is doing that behind the scenes...and those who are with him. The Democrats and Rhino's would love nothing better than for their to be a civil war here and Obama come out on top.....right now they are loosing and they know it....we cannot let some sort of angry American march take the momentum out of what the tide is favorable to us ahead....we still have a chance to turn this ship....though no doubt it will not be an easy thing.
